I’ve had a style crush on high-waisted, wide-leg (as well as flared and kick-out), cropped pants for awhile now, so I’m happy it happens to be the most on-trend style at the moment. Whether a crisp trouser or classic denim, the look is flattering, fresh, and so versatile. I’ve been wearing my Samantha Pleet pants for a few months, but I’ve also invested in some Club Monaco and MOTHER Denim pairs along the way. Ever since Dorianne wore these, I’ve been eyeing Jesse Kamm, and I also know Rachel Comey makes a mean pair (in fact, our team is attending a Rachel Comey sample sale this week in hopes of securing a pair of her cult "Legion" pants). The best way to wear a pant like this is with a shirt that's cropped and/or tucked in, to show off your waist, and with some kind of heel to elongate the silhouette (although a low loafer or ballet flat can look cute too). Here, I rounded up some of the versions I’m coveting now.
