This past summer, when I first asked Sloan what she wanted to be for Halloween (not everyone starts brainstorming ideas that far in advance?!), she replied quite simply, "a rat." It definitely threw me at first, since she's definitely going through a bit of a princess phase, but I went with it. She clarified later that day that it was the rat from Ratatouille, which meant that G and I could go as Linguini and Colette. Finding a child's rat costume proved to be a little difficult, but we managed to make it work with a gray leotard and matching skirt, a headband with ears and a clip-on tail, plus a wig and some chef gear for G and myself. We snapped a few quick shots this morning at home and school, and can't wait to go trick-or-treating with our cute little rodent tonight. Happy Halloween!
