As a little girl, I loved to go through my mom's drawers and play with all of her jewelry. Since she kept her things meticulously organized, she was never too enthusiastic about me putting knots in her necklaces and losing the backs of earrings. And even though I have a decent sized jewelry collection of my own now, I still can't resist the urge to dive in when I come home. I had some time alone in the house yesterday and took a few pictures of my favorite pieces (and of course borrowed a sparkly something to wear out to dinner).
