I love a good twist on a classic dessert, which is why I had to try fōnuts, a newly opened bake shop that sells "faux donuts" that are baked, not fried. They have traditional flavors, like glazed and cinnamon sugar, but I was most excited about the unique combinations like maple bacon, and peanut butter and jelly (which were already sold out by the time I arrived). Bottom line: they're delicious, cake-like, but still fluffy, though still a far cry from a "healthy" dessert.
