It turned out to be one of those great, increasingly rare weeks that was perfectly balanced. Halloween was a big hit—first, with Sloan, who embraced trick-or-treating with a kind of enthusiasm that only matched my own and then while we ate chili outside by our fire pit with friends. I squeezed in two baking projects (biscotti and pumpkin pies), had two nights out with girlfriends, and am looking forward to a quiet night in tonight with G. Apparently I've already embraced the whole nesting thing for fall in record time. Have a wonderful weekend!
