Even though it's been years since I was in college and Sloan's still too young to be on a regular school schedule, this week really felt like the first week of "summer break." We made the point of ending work early one afternoon to sit outside by our fire pit and enjoy the perfect weather with some friends and "frosé" (we roughly followed this recipe, but blended it with ice rather than waiting for the rosé to freeze). This weekend I'm looking forward to more of the same—with a beach day tossed in, for good measure. Have a good one!
