It's been a tough week, from little annoyances to larger issues. I had an exhausting, albeit productive, travel day to Las Vegas for the Project trade show (the highlight of which was meeting so many of you), dealt with complicated logistics on an upcoming project, and followed the heartbreaking stories of those affected by the floods in Louisiana and the wildfires in California. My thoughts are with those families, and I can't help but think of how grateful I am for the health and safety of my own. I'm feeling more appreciative than ever for an impromptu visit from my parents this weekend. G and I have two parties we're looking forward to attending in the evenings but otherwise we'll be savoring some much-needed restful days at home with the people we love.
