Do you know that feeling, after you've been sick for what seems like forever, and you question if you're ever going to feel like yourself again? That's where I was this week after battling a cold/cough (that's since turned into bronchitis) that I just couldn't shake. I felt so lousy that nothing sounded good—no particular foods (aside from soup) nor a hangout with friends or even finding a new tv series with G sounded appealing. I'm happy to report that I'm finally over the worst of it and am back to my old self, and looking forward to things again. It's funny how, until you're on the other side, that you realize just how off you felt. This weekend, I'm excited about a pumpkin carving party with new friends, squeezing in some horror movies (we watched The Babysitter on Netflix recently, which despite questionable reviews, we found enjoyable), and a trip to the beach to soak up the last of summer. Have a good one!

P.S.
, If you live in the San Diego area, I've partnered with one of my favorite bakeries, Extraordinary Desserts, to create a limited-edition, exclusive cookie, with 25% of the proceeds benefitting the Global Fund for Women. More information here, and shop the cookie here!
