Find of the Week

The best rosé for summer—in a can.
Publish date:

My ideal weeknight goes like this: Get home from work, open a bottle of wine, and have a glass while cooking dinner with my boyfriend to eat outside on our patio. But fast-forward three days and you'll find me pouring the remainder of the bottle down the sink. As much as I love wine, it can be a challenge to finish a bottle on a weeknight and, more often than not, over half finds its way to the drain.

Last week, I stumbled upon Underwood Rosé in a Can in an issue of Cosmo (yes, I was reading Cosmo) and knew immediately that it was the perfect solution. Each can holds the equivalent of two glasses so I can open one and pour a glass for each of us—or have two glasses myself. The wine itself is everything you'd want in a light, summer rosé so it went perfectly with the fresh vegetables on the farmers' market pizza I made that night. At this point, our wine rack is filled with more cans than bottles—it also comes in Pinot Gris, Sparkling, and Pinot Noir—but none of it's going to waste.
