Joy Moments From The Past Few Weeks
There's something that feels so anticlimactic and weird about summer starting without any semblance of a plan. This week, Sloan "graduated" from preschool and I'm not quite sure how we got here. These last few months spent inside have felt simultaneously like we've never been allowed to leave but also like the time has flown by. As we gear up for summer, I'm trying to focus on the small comforts in and around home that make me the most excited. We just got a barbecue so even though we won't be grilling outside with friends, the smoke wafting in the backyard and the smell of ribs and wood chips are a reminder that we can still find little ways to savor some of the best parts of summer. Here are just a few of the moments in the past few weeks that have made me happy. Have a great weekend! x
