I've only camped once...and I wouldn't exactly call it camping. It was in my parents' front yard and we had eaten dinner outside over a fire (also known as barbecuing) and my dad had set up a tent so that my friend and I could sleep under the stars. Except sleep never came. At around 9pm, we tiptoed back inside to hunker down in my trundle bed for the rest of the evening. Needless to say, I'm still not that outdoorsy, but I do appreciate one mainstay of camping: s'mores. While the traditional s'more is a simple dessert, I wanted to try a variation of this recipe, which features a graham cracker crust, chocolate ganache, peanut butter, and a homemade marshmallow top. Though I'm not one to mess with classics, the savory addition added a salty component that really took it to a whole new level.
