This past Saturday, with weather that rivaled perfection, I celebrated turning a quarter of a century old, accompanied by two of my best friends and my boyfriend. I typically despise the attention that arrives on May 3rd, since it builds an unwarranted amount of pressure, but I welcomed a relaxed picnic in the shade.
