I think homemade desserts almost always trump those bought at a store (unless, of course, baking is seriously not your calling). Sometimes it's just hard to find the time to make something special that looks as good as it tastes. Chocolate-dipped pretzels have always been one of my favorite treats and because this week has turned out to be unexpectedly hectic, I decided to make something that didn't even require an oven. I simply melted chocolate (white and milk), dipped in some pretzel rods and decorated them with some Memorial Day-inspired sprinkles. *Bonus: when stacked in a tall glass or a hurricane vase, it makes for a pretty (and edible!) centerpiece.
