I first met Debbie as a freshman in high school and we became fast friends. We bonded over a shared embarrassment of being in the band and have remained close ever since. When she told me that she had started Wei Kitchen, a line of Asian-inspired specialty oils, I couldn't wait to try them out and cook up something fun together. We made Bánh Mì bites, using her signature Shallot Oil (which is also great with scrambled eggs, salad dressings and marinades) and they've quickly become a weekly staple in our house. They're quick to assemble, are loaded with flavor and the compact size makes them ideal for entertaining.
