Anyone who's been reading this blog long enough knows I have a complicated relationship with fitness, but I want to change that. This month, I'm committing myself to move every single day in February. "Moving" can be as sweaty as a boot camp class with my team, or as relaxed as a short walk at lunch—but I'm committed to moving every single day. And I'd love for you to join our team! Over the past few months, we've reached out to our favorite fitness studios in Los Angeles to compile a month-long schedule of free classes for readers (with snacks and goodie bags at each, of course). See the full schedule below, and we hope to see you there!

You've probably already seen Amanda Kloots on Instagram. The former New York City Rockette has a residency at the Bandier studio on Melrose, teaching her high-energy (read: sweaty) dance classes! When Leslie and Katie tested out this class on a lunch break a few weeks ago, they were amazed by how sore they felt after just 27 minutes. The class itself doesn't feel overwhelmingly difficult (though the vibrational plates it uses definitely feel strange!), but your legs will feel like Jell-O afterward since your muscles are contracting roughly 30 to 50 times per second! Another nice benefit: There's plenty of parking on the street around and in the structure next to the studio, which they validate up to 75 minutes, so you can swing by after work! Babe Rosé, Kombrewcha, and Blank Label Active will all be in attendance for some shaky-legged sips and shopping.
*Grip-soled socks required, but we'll provide them for you to take home afterward!

Okay, I know boxing sounds intimidating, but Jess swears by this 45-minute boxing and strength training class at Rumble. No experience necessary, come pretend you're Rocky with us (with Detox Water afterward!). And be sure to arrive at 8:15, for plenty of time to get your gloves on and get settled before class.

This class is a favorite of our team—Leslie often pops over at lunch on Fridays since it's walking distance from our office. It combines dance and floor exercises for an all-around, sweaty burn that's, as cheesy as it sounds, difficult not to smile through! Enjoy Pressed Juicery Green Shots and a password for a free cup of drip coffee at our favorite shop, Dayglow, before you head to work!
