When I got married, I fantasized about the possibility of wearing my mom's wedding gown: it's long-sleeved, vintage lace, but somehow still incredibly current (seen here). My mom was about half my size though, so the idea of having a Hulk-inspired moment at the alter and bursting the back seams wide open kept replaying in my mind. But when I saw this dress nearly two years later, I knew it would fill the void of not being able to wear hers. Plus I can dress this one down with broken-in boots and smudgy eyeliner to essentially get away with wearing a slight variation on a wedding dress on a Wednesday morning.
