Mustard is an incredibly polarizing color—even in my own closet. And for a long time, I'd avoid yellow-toned dresses, even if they were flattering in every other respect, because they can feel jarringly bold, especially in a sea of neutral dresses. But recently I've warmed to the color, which is popping up for fall in a variety of options, from a golden midi skirt to paper bag shorts.
