My closet is predominantly overrun by stripes. While they're certainly not the most flattering of patterns, I find myself scooping them by the armfuls. This weekend I found this nautical skirt at Anthropologie and promptly changed in the dressing room so that I could wear it out of the store. Its simple pleats and voluminous shape are a slight departure from the usual skirts I drift towards, but the stripes make it fit perfectly with the rest of my wardrobe. Plus, who can resist something with a polka dot lining?
