I've always had an uncanny ability to tan, which I can thank my mom's genes for. While my days of sitting by a pool for hours to get a dark glow are over, I secretly love that my shoulders always get a few shades darker starting in springtime, even under layers of sunscreen. It's a nostalgic thing that takes me immediately back to summertime growing up, playing hours of soccer in the sunshine. For this reason, I often find myself wearing off-the-shoulder blouses and dresses during the summertime which have a care-free vibe that always puts me into a good mood and gives me an opportunity to show off my sun-kissed shoulders.
