I remember the first time I saw a white suit in a fashion magazine. The model looked relaxed, cool, and crisp, and that image has stuck with me since. It can of course go the opposite direction, in more of a Miami Vice kind of way. But with fitted and tailored separates, you're safe from '80s associations. I kept my accessories as polished as the suit pieces with a pointy-toed pump and structured bag, and rolled the pant cuffs + wore a cotton tank for casual balance. (P.S. the last time I wore a white suit, clearly before I'd embraced the importance of dry shampoo).
