If you've ever had to lug a laptop around, on your commute or at work, you know how difficult it is to find a functional bag that isn't overtly utilitarian or masculine. Oftentimes, I end up bringing a small cross-body purse, tossing my camera over another shoulder, and tucking my laptop under my arm, but this isn't always possible—or practical. And when I do find a tote that's large enough to fit everything, my computer bounces around so much that it ends up crushing the smaller, more delicate items floating in my purse. I'd been searching for the perfect solution for a while… and then I connected with SENREVE.
Founded by two women who needed a travel-and tech-friendly bag for their jobs in tech and finance, they created SENREVE and the Maestra Bag. The exterior is made from genuine Italian leather that's water and stain-resistant (don't worry, I asked and tried it out — especially since I selected it in white!). It's professional, but still a far cry from a briefcase, so I was able to pair it with a fresh, spring-inspired suit for an early morning meeting. It's incredibly light and offers structured pockets, including a padded laptop sleeve and compartments sized to fit common purse necessities (phone, lipstick, keys, sunglasses), as well as a zipper closure for security. Best of all, it can be worn multiple ways, as a backpack, on the arm or shoulder, or as a cross-body so you don't have to compromise between functionality and style. It's an investment piece, but one that's absolutely worth it given the amount of wear it will get.
