When I started this blog, many of my outfit posts—and my closet, for that matter—consisted of fun Forever21 pieces, like this lacy top and eyelet-trimmed skirt. While I don't shop there as often as I did in my twenties (at this point, it feels ironic since it's been forever since I was 21), I rarely walk past a store without stopping in, partially out of habit and partially because sometimes I'll come across a piece like this. I'm a huge fan of the star pattern since it's playful without looking childish, and at $23, the price was just as appreciated as it was in my 20s.
