L.A.'s not much of a walking city. In our last place, we were really close to Little Ethiopia and not much else, so we drove everywhere. Since we moved though, I've found myself embracing a different lifestyle and getting used to the idea that I don't have to drive (and subsequently park or valet once I get to my destination). We have a farmers' market nearby, so it's immediately become our new tradition to walk there, get flowers and produce for the week, before heading back home.
