There are certain childhood dreams that can't be realized as an adult. Fortunately, wearing a long, flowing prairie dress can and should be. This dress avoids a full-blown Laura Ingalls-esque costume thanks to an understated floral print and a decidedly more modern off-the-shoulder look. Swapping out bonnets and boots for stilettos and aviators also helps, but I couldn't help but make a nod to days spent in the fields by accessorizing with a straw bag — for collecting flowers of course.
