What I Wore to a New French Marketplace

Hint: It's dressier than I'd usually get for breakfast

About two years ago, we found out that a little French cafe/marketplace/bar/restaurant was set to open up in our neighborhood. I probably walked by and creepily drove past it dozens of times, waiting to see if its doors were finally open. So when we heard last week that they'd started serving breakfast, I quickly changed into something that felt fitting for the occasion: a pretty printed dress (I just discovered this Los Angeles label and love absolutely everything they do) with a casual knotted belt and dainty low heels. It felt like a playful take on a California Parisian outfit to what will undoubtedly become one of our go-to local spots.
