Most of the time when I have to get dressed for a meeting, I throw on a dress, add a pair of heels and run out the door. But this past week I switched it up a bit. Since jeans were too casual and long trousers felt stuffy, I went with cropped pants that I previously had relegated to my winter wardrobe. Darker plaid usually feels heavy, but when paired with a lightweight peplum top, a tan belt, and bright heels, it felt entirely spring appropriate.
