As a fan of all things pink, I so appreciate the nuances between what's blush, petal, dusty, carnation, ballet slipper, candy-colored, and bubblegum pink. The degrees of difference on the color wheel are subtle and endless, but I don't discriminate - I love them all. Of course any time I'm combining a pale pink with something white, delicate, and feminine, it feels quintessential Cupcakes and Cashmere to me - à la my old office and our new one, my book covers, and countless outfits over the years. Because the pattern of this dress is so graphic and eye-catching, I paired it with a solid, single-color coat-and-shoe combo for a unifying effect that pulls it all together.
