Classics are "classics" because they have staying power. Even after years and trends come and go, and even - as I was recently reminded - across seasons, they remain. I bought this coat last fall and quickly realized it would be a staple in my winter wardrobe, but not necessarily my spring wardrobe. Until it was. By pairing it with other neutral accessories like a spring-ready purse and a knotted belt, a fresh (and shorter) hair cut, and a poppy-red lip, I'm happy to say I'm even more devoted to this coat and classics that easily transcend seasonal boundaries.
