For the most part, if there's an item in my closet that I haven't worn in a while, it's safe to say that it's destined for my donation pile. But this tuxedo-inspired jacket, which I scooped up at the Isabel Marant x H&M sale years ago, is one of those pieces that I reach for in phases. At times, blazers can feel too professional or stuffy for someone in a creative industry (and make me recall the terrible old lady suit I bought straight out of college), but then I'll shift and can't get enough of relaxed jeans with crisp outerwear and a ladylike pump. Needless to say, I've been pulling out this blazer with increased frequency and, despite any future ambivalence, it'll always have a place in my closet.
