Once you become a parent, there's no such thing as really having time off. And don't get me wrong—there's nothing I love more than hanging with Sloan (she told me I'm her best friend recently and it nearly slayed me)—but gone are the days of binge-watching T.V. shows in bed on a Saturday morning and going out for late afternoon drinks on a Sunday with G "just because." That being said, I still like to look and feel as relaxed as possible and often that comes in the form of casual dressing (which sometimes verges on wearing my pajamas out of the house). My uniform typically remains the same: a comfy pant, some sort of layering situation to account for changes in the weather (in this case, a fitted tank and a cashmere cardigan), and a cushy pair of flats.
