If an item combines two of my favorite things, it's an automatic yes in my book. Suffice it to say, this top had me with its blue-and-white stripes and off-the-shoulder neckline. It's the kind of piece that can be tucked into a number of different bottoms, from high-waisted denim to pencil skirts and trousers. On that note, these Tibi pants made me realize just how underrated a statement trouser is. Jewelry, shoes, and dresses seem to have all the fun, but a high-impact pant can also steal the show. The cross front panel, belt, and mild drop-crotch enhance the sculptural, almost military look of this paperbag pair. Since most of my trousers are pretty safe and straightforward, I love now having this edgier version in rotation.
