You wouldn't know it from the palette I picked for the blog, but growing up, my favorite color was blue. Maybe it's because I identified as a tomboy that I felt compelled to choose a stereotypically male color as my favorite, but I couldn't get enough of it. While I'm not quite as obsessed as I once was, I still love the color, but for a completely different reason. Now, I associate blue with summertime activities like bringing Sloan to the beach and taking walks under cloudless L.A. skies. For that reason, it felt like the perfect jumping off point for a water-colored inspired blouse for my summer line (also available in a dress). Even though it's long-sleeved, the fabric is light enough that I can wear it on warm evenings for date nights with G.
