Part of anyone's personal style evolution is figuring out which categories of clothing work for wherever you're at in life. My current obsession is white blouses because they're elegant and effortlessly transition between different contexts. Whether silk and bell-sleeved (like this one worn here), or cotton with lace detail, they can be tucked into a pencil skirt for work just as easily as worn with jeans for a casual look. I paired this intricately-detailed one with relaxed denim, and decided to finally give the neck scarf trend a try. Sticking to a pale neutral palette of white, nude, blush, and light blue, the look felt fresh and on-trend, with vintage Americana flair.
