It sounds dramatic, but I still mourn the loss of the bi-annual Barneys warehouse sale in L.A. It's where I purchased a majority of my favorite shoes and there's such validation in finding incredible pieces at a major discount. But two weekends ago I went to the Beverly Hills store and was pleasantly surprised to find that almost everything was on sale, this top included. I questioned whether the bold print, bright colors, and mesh sleeves would be too busy, but based on the variety of ways I've already worn it (also with white cut-offs, black skinnies, and over a maxi dress), it's proven to be a piece that works well with the rest of my closet's neutrals.
