There's always that one morning when you wake up and feel like fall has arrived. Though shown in subtle glimpses - the way the light looks in the early afternoon or the smell outside when there's a breeze - it's quietly apparent. Even though it's hardly cold in L.A., the leaves on the trees have begun to change and I've tucked away my summer sandals in place of flat boots. I've always liked the look of long dresses without the glitz of an evening gown; something soft and simple that looks even better when juxtaposed with edgier pieces. This dress has been the one I've been reaching for several days a week, as it's just as good for shopping with girlfriends as it is worn with a leather jacket at night.
