A little over a month ago, in the middle of a particularly intense heat wave, I went shopping with my mom with the sole intention of coming back with some flowy, floral dresses. They were one of the only things that sounded appealing to wear and would still give the impression that I was pulled-together (even if I was a sweaty mess underneath). I came home empty-handed, but found this breezy option online the next day and ordered it on the spot. Though it's been getting a fair amount of play this summer, it also feels like the ideal transitional piece to take me into fall with its muted palette and long, tiered sleeves.
