The last time I wore pinstripes was when my mom took me shopping for my first job, post-college. In her mind, pinstripes were associated with conservative business attire that would show my future employers how serious I was about the job—in mine, they felt incredibly old-fashioned, and better suited for Mad Men. After a short debate, we ended up compromising on a classic black pencil skirt. Since then, I avoided the pattern altogether until coming across this Ganni Jumpsuit, which features the classic stripes in an unexpected, drop-crotch silhouette that felt like a far cry from a trading room floor and seamlessly transitioned from meetings to drinks in Venice.
