On the weekends, my goal is to spend my time wisely enough so that they're both relaxing and full, with time for myself and also those I love. Usually though, I feel like it swings one of two ways: by Monday I'm either exhausted and worn out or refreshed and ready to tackle the week. We managed to find the ideal balance this past weekend, which is always a nice reminder to know that it's possible to squeeze everything in to two days. We cooked dishes that had been flagged in food magazines for months, made some progress on the baby's room, went out on a date to where we had our first one (Osteria Mozza), took naps, caught up on TV shows and went for long walks.
