There are certain sartorial pairings that work like a charm thanks to complementary proportions and textures. A billowy, bohemian minidress with thigh high stretch suede boots is one of my favorite of said duos. I'd been on the hunt for the perfect over-the-knee pair for ages, and finally settled on what's considered the gold standard for that category of footwear: the Stuart Weitzman Highland boot. I opted for the topo color, a luxe dove gray that's more unexpected than basic black, but just as versatile.
