When I first saw this dress, the paisley pattern reminded me of a shirt my dad used to wear. It was one of his special shirts, worn to Thanksgiving dinners and other occasions. I don't remember it as a kid, but after seeing it several times when glancing through photo albums, I can tell it was one of his favorites. This dress was an unlikely find, as the combination of billowy sleeves, flirty length and a drop-waist don't exactly scream flattering, but I love that it looks even better dressed down with beat-up boots and messy waves.
