As soon as I learned about Saks Final Sale Event, I instantly hopped on my computer to peruse their literally thousands of deeply discounted options. It's one of my favorite sales of the year, and I rarely walk away from it without a full cart at checkout, but this year, in particular, I noticed a ton of trendy-turned-classic bags available, like my favorite Staud bucket bag and the Cult Gaia arc bag. I rounded up a few of my favorite bags worth taking advantage of the sale for:
Staud's Moreau bag is the kind of bag that adds a bit of interest to a simple outfit but also looks great with nearly anything, which is exactly what makes it a perfect every-day bag. While I own it in white, I'm tempted to buy the black-on-black version on sale now.
The Cult Gaia arc bag exploded a few years ago, with good reason. Its chic shape made it an instant classic, with the added allure of barely being able to see the pretty little things inside. While the bamboo version is classic (albeit not on sale), I'd suggest going with a fun acrylic shade to stand out a bit!
Although I generally gravitate towards neutral beaded totes, some of the colorful options in this sale, like this one from Loeffler Randall, and Susan Alexandra's instant-classic beaded fruit bags, have me considering otherwise...
A good neutral bucket bag is an investment you'll never regret making—and likely one you'll own your entire life. Carolina Santo Domingo's is instantly recognizable, while elevating any look.
In the summertime, I tend to gravitate towards my Doen straw bag, in lieu of traditional leather totes. This structured option from Poolside feels a little more professional, while maintaining the care-free feel of warmer days.
I've always loved a belt bag, but never truly appreciated their full brilliance until having Sloan. The ability they offer to maneuver hands-free through errands and park dates is not only invaluable but looks chic. This white option from Lutz speaks for itself. It would look just as great with an all-white ensemble, as it would paired with jeans and sneakers.
