I've been known to pick a style of clothes and run with it. I'm relatively consistent with and confident in my style but have always strived to buy less and make what I currently own more versatile. Determined to challenge myself, I took home one of our new graphic tees from the Shop and styled it five different ways over the course of a week.
I never used to think I could pull off a graphic tee, especially because my music taste is either top 100 pop or broadway classics (with no exceptions). Once we got the line of Daydreamer graphic tees in our shop though, I was really interested in incorporating them into my regular wardrobe. The tees are the right length (not cropped nor too long), are as pretty as they are cool, and feature recognizable bands that won't make me look like a phony (at the same time, you could easily use another graphic or basic tee you already own to recreate most of these looks!). Here's exactly how I styled my favorite, Led Zepplin tee:
Our office is definitely more casual than previous offices I've worked in, and I feel so lucky that I get to wear clothes I actually love every day rather than a full suit. It's still somewhat warm here so I paired my tee with my Rag and Bone midi skirt, Amazon loafers, and my vintage denim jacket draped over my shoulders. It's casual, comfortable for sitting all day, and put-together enough for any surprise meetings or outings.
There's nothing I love more than a lazy weekend in. That doesn't mean I want to wear old, worn-out clothes, though. For a re-creation of my favorite weekend outfit, I layered my Daydreamer tee with a teddy jacket and paired it with leggings and Adidas sneakers. It's perfect for lounging on the couch and shopping the farmers' market.
I'm not the best at having weeknight plans since I often bail before the workday is over. However, if my outfit is strong enough, I actually feel inspired to go. I paired my Zara satin skirt with a cropped leather jacket. With mules and my vintage purse, I feel dressed up enough for any sort of plan.
Whenever I travel, I make sure my outfit is both comfortable and presentable. I want to be sure that even if my luggage is lost, I'm totally okay with walking around and touring in whatever I'm wearing. Here, I paired my graphic tee over an Urban Outfitters jumpsuit and paired it with my Birkenstocks and backpack. It's incredibly laid back, but I can throw on a cropped leather jacket if I need to make it work beyond the plane!
When you live with your significant other, getting ready for a date can feel a lot less fun. There isn't the "surprise" of showing up like there used to be. That's why I like to wear things that I wouldn't normally wear during the workweek. I'm obsessed with this leather pleated skirt from our fall line and, paired with my go-to slides and boyfriend blazer, the look is effortlessly chic for a date night.
