When I put on my makeup in the morning and leave the house, I usually feel pretty put together and polished. But I swear that by the time I reach the office, my concealer that had been hiding a plethora of imperfections has vanished, my lip color's smudged and my eyeliner is now close to my eyebrows. I'm not sure why I hadn't thought to try a makeup setting spray before, but this one has made such a big difference in how I look throughout the day. I spritz on two light sprays after applying my makeup and it keeps everything in place well into the afternoon.
I'm not into lotions with bold claims that clearly won't make a difference. And as tempting as some of them are ("erase all your cellulite in two weeks!"), I typically stay away from them. I thought that would be the case with this balm that claims to minimize the appearance of pores, but as it turns out, it legitimately works. As in, my forehead is undeniably smoother and all those years I spent basking in the sun as a teenager (at least temporarily) appear to have not made a difference.
Blush is one of those products that I have a bit of a love hate relationship with. Sometimes I go through periods when I'll forget to put it on for what feels like months, whereas other times, it's one of the few things I'll put on my face each morning with just a swipe of mascara. Lately I've been really feeling the look of flushed cheeks and have been on the hunt for a product that works just as well on my cheeks as it does on my lips. This gelée sinks into my skin without being sticky and glides on to reveal the prettiest pink stain that looks completely natural.
