How to Make a Sleek Halloween Cloche Centerpiece

A scary-good DIY, just in time for Halloween.
By Sugar & Cloth ,

The only thing I love more than decorating for the core holidays is a good, classy DIY that’s easy to make but will totally still impress your friends. You know, not too much to ask for right?

While they’re not always easy to come by, this DIY Halloween cloche centerpiece is definitely one of them. It’s perfect for a spooky dinner party, everyday Halloween decor around the house, or an elegant costume party. Basically the sky’s the limit here…

DIY Halloween Cloche Centerpiece

1 brass rod
Glass cloche
Marble board or cloche surface board of your choice
Metallic gold spray paint
Green craft moss
Toy rubber insects
Hot glue + glue gun

Lay the insects out over old newspaper, and spray-paint gold, let dry completely, then flip them and repeat for the opposite side.

After insects are dry, hot glue the gold insects, one at a time, onto the brass rod, and repeat until you have a full enough look. Place moss in the center of the surface board of your choice.

Stick rod under cloche at a slant, and place on the board.

That's it! Happy Halloween!
