White Christmas
Christmas in New York is magical. Everyone is in such great spirits and despite the frigid temperatures, the streets were bustling at all times. Once I mastered the technique of layering (I referred back to all of your fabulous suggestions here), I couldn’t believe how cozy it was jumping in and out of boutiques as I walked around Soho. My meetings went really well and I can’t wait to share more about my upcoming collaborations shortly.

I love NYC so much. That photo in the bathroom is adorable.
Emily, I love it, Christmas in NY is magical! Currently spending the holidays in South Africa, it’s 90 degrees and I’m finding it so hard to get into the festive mood! It feels like summer vacation! xo
The first picture with the lit trees is pretty! And that wallpaper is insanee!
cute bathroom wallpaper
nyc is lovely all year round, but there’s nothing quite like experiencing winter in new york (despite the freezing temperatures). i love the first photo with the twinkling lights:)
Ohhh, lovely pics. It’s such a magical place. You might have just persuaded me to book a trip in Jan. (My finger has been hovering over the ‘book now’ button for about a month!)
eeeeeeeeee cant wait to hear more! xo
I’ve always wanted to go to New York! And I think this period is best there is. One day…

nice shots. where in NYC were they taken?
The snow is magical when you’re in NYC visiting however when you live in New England and have to call out of work because they haven’t plowed your street yet and you’re stuck, then it becomes less magical. Love the pics!
these photos make me miss new york so much!
Aaawww… I so badly wanted to visit New York this year before the holidays. I wonder if the magicalness will carry over to the post-Christmas/pre-New Years period? A couple of days in NYC with my love would be a fantastic gift!

Aww, I LOVE NY during Xmas!!! Wish I was there!
It looks amazing! London is lovely, but it doesn’t have the same overwhelming festiveness at Christmas! xx

I love that wallpaper, where did you stay? Are you going to post your outfits from NYC? I’d love to see your take on chic winter wear!
I am so glad you were able to see the prettiness of NYC while walking in the winter wonderland, literally! I was able to come home from college before the weather got bad and enjoyed having snowball fights in the middle of the city. Can’t wait to see the rest of your pics!
Really love your blog. It’s so personal and you’ve got great fashion!
Your trip sounds wonderful! I wish I was in that magical city right now.
I especially love the wallpaper, I bet the rest of your room was delightful, too!

It was quite the snow storm on Saturday wasn’t it?! I got up before it started and ran to the fabric store so I would have something to do during it all. It was great to sew all afternoon and evening while watching the snow fall. Pretty!
WE can’t wait to hear your collaborations!! & you’re lucky you got out of there with all the snow! My apartment looked out over all the snowy buildings and it was magical!

Enjoy NY!!! So different than Cali for sure!…and I absolutely looooove your blog. I sort of stumbled on it last week at work– stayed late after everyone had left– and read through tons of posts. It was such a treat!
Something about Christmas is definitely magical, but I always seem to get depressed too. That’s the holiday season, isn’t it?
Love,

The first time I visited New York was at Christmastime, and I so many fond memories. Love that bathroom wallpaper!
So nice to meet you on Saturday! Sorry you got stuck in the storm, but glad you find it magical nonetheless. It turns out there’s nothing quite like New York at Christmas.
Very festive. Certainly a dream of mine to spend a holiday season in NYC. You captured it beautifully!

we cannot wait to hear about all of the fabulous things you did here. wasn’t the snow fabulous?! And I’m sure we might have missed each other in SoHo on Sunday. I had to run a few errands down there and tried to do everything as qucikly as possible. All of you shoppers are champs!
I hope you had a great time!
PS–for all of your readers who love NY (and for you!), I’m having a special NY guidebook giveaway on my blog…

Love your blog- Very inspiring. I knew the second I saw your photo of your city view that you were staying at our “City Home”. Since we moved to the burbs- we had to find a new home when we returned into the city, and that place has been it for the past 12 years. Everyone there is our extended family. Wonderful choice!
Is that really you in silhouette in the bathroom!? That picture is awesome!
must be such a big difference in New york versus LA…i love it here in los angeles but feel i need a change ..so NYC seems like somewhere I may enjoy!!! HAVE FUN LADY WHILE YOU’RE THERE!!! XOXO
Love New York, its my favorite place to be. Its unfortunate you had to catch it in the middle of a blizzard thought it could be even more beautiful in the snow.

I have always found issues with shopping in freezing temperatures due to the drastic temperature changes while darting in and out of stores and then back into the chill. I am easily sick, though, I probably don’t have your kind of physical resolve and mettle.
excellent photos!!!! merry xmas!!!! =)
Absolutely gorgeous New York images, would love to see the city during the holidays.
Love your pictures. <3
What kind of camera do you use?
New York was soooo magical this weekend, glad you got to see it! I hope you checked out Anemome and Think Closet and Ina boutiques in Soho, they are my fav! Love the bathrroom wallpaper, Soho Grand right?
