I spent a wonderful 6 months living in DC one year (I interned for a Senator on the Hill), and still hold such fond memories of the thrilling history, the beautiful streets of Georgetown, the tiny bookshops and the farmer’s markets of the town. Thank you for bringing back such happy thoughts via your charming pictures!

WOW, these photos are spectacular!!! I visited D.C. for the first time in July while my Husband was busy working in Bethesda, Maryland. He worked, I played. The weather was unbelievably hot (and we live in Texas) but the sights and food were incredible. My favorite meal was at Ping Pong (dim sum) at their Dupont Circle location. After lunch, I walked around several blocks and stumbled upon the Gandhi sculpture. Beautiful! It’s a great city and I want to go back in the spring and fall. This is a lovely post, thanks for sharing your trip. Happy Friday!
