L.A. is a great place to live on three-day weekends. The city becomes nearly deserted and it makes for the perfect opportunity to discover new areas that are typically too out of the way. On Sunday morning we ventured over to Venice for breakfast, and while I was quite content with my vintage schoolgirl getup, it didn’t quite work so close to the beach. Turns out, anything besides flip-flops and t-shirts is terribly overdressed, so we found an equally relaxed restaurant that’s worth venturing back out for, even in traffic.
