Umami Burger

I have a major weakness for burgers and have to refrain from ordering them pretty much every time I go out to eat. With my parents in town this past weekend though, I figured it would be a great opportunity to share one of our favorite spots: Umami Burger. Everything on the menu is carefully crafted to include just enough classics, but in new ways that are unconventionally delicious. Apparently they also have fabulous desserts (like ice cream sandwiches and root beer floats), but I’ve always been far too stuffed to ever give them a try.
The Manly Burger
{beer-cheddar cheese, smoked-salt onion strings, bacon lardons}
Sweet Potato Fries
{with Umami Ketchup}
Ahi Tuna Burger
{ahi patty, sprouts, pickled carrots, avocado and wasabi powder}
Cheesy Tator Tots
{like hash browns, but with melted cheese inside. pure amazingness}

*Drooool* it looks so yummy! I also have a huge weakness for burgers. Last week I declared to my boyfriend *I am going to eat nothing but super natural, healthy food for a whole week* and then we went to our favourite local cafe, and for the first time EVER they had a burger on the specials menu!!! It was so mean of the universe to do that to me

Truffle burger is hands down the best there (although EVERYTHING is delicious)….I highly recommend the rootbeer float!!
I have never been there but I obviously have been missing something amazing! I’m going to save this and show my roommate so we can make a trip here next time we go to LA!
Tuna Burger looks incredible!
The cheesy tater tots look too scrumptious. I’m very inspired to create my version–maybe a tater tot casserole dish or my own dupe of some cheesy tater tots–or find a local eatery that sells them in the Bay Area. They just look too good to pass up. Nonetheless, the Ahi Tuna burger is a top contender right behind those breakfast bites.
