Tini Treasures

June 2nd, 2011

I rarely miss an opportunity to go to a flea market, but during the week it’s not like my lust for thrifting simply disappears. On days when I need a bit of inspiration, I head over to tini (it stands for ‘this is not Ikea’), which is literally packed from floor to ceiling with vintage treasures. Whether I’m looking for midcentury modern, rustic or industrial pieces, I always leave with new ideas and quirky pieces for our place. After yesterday’s trip, I since realized just how necessary it is to own a colorful retro ice bucket (so fun for parties!), a brightly patterned mannequin and some baroque mirrors for the hallway.
