I have a serious weakness for girly details, especially when they’re offset by a relaxed, unstructured design. Wren sent over this adorable shirt last week (also available here) and the boatneck cut and comfy cotton is exactly what I want to live in for fall. I still have a lot of shopping to do until my closet is up to speed with the approaching season, but my list is coming along quite nicely. I’m still on the lookout for a pair of over-the-knee boots, a strong-shouldered dress, embellished tights, a sequined blazer and an oversized, shaggy cardigan. What’s on your must-have list this season?

My list is filled with scarfs, gloves, a pair of tan riding boots and lots of oversized shaggy cardigans, which will all help me stay warm and dry during these (very!) rainy months.

You little cupcake, you’re like a fun fall present!! I love that bag, too. There is a cute Kate Spade bracelet (gold with black bows) online right now that I think you’d like. My fall wardrobe is going to consist of jeans that (hopefully) do not include an elastic waistband, a big cozy grey cashmere sweater (I think I get one of these every year!), ankle boots (still obsessed with them), and some colored tights. I also get exceedingly happy by a brand new scarf, hat, and mittens every season.
Love the bow shirt! My Fall list includes some ankle boots, scarves and mittens, and a great, fitted jacket.
I wish I lived in CA and could have more of a fun wishlist… it’s already in the low 40s here! I just want those sweater knit shorts from Stolen Girlfriends Club I saw on Rumi’s blog. Begging my sister in law to knit them for me to wear with tights and boots.

Wish List for Surviving the Chilly Weather in Boston:
1. Wolford tights (either Merino or Polar) – I’ve heard they’re simply amazingly warm. I get tired of wearing jeans all winter long, and hope these are warm enough so I can work more skirts and dresses into the mix during the cold months.
2. cute flannel shirt (the Men’s Eagle Flannel Shirt (ae.com) in XS is surprisingly cute – fitted, but not cropped like the women’s shirts tend to be on me.)
3. Riding boots (this will be my splurge item for the season)
4. some kind of statement sweater – maybe something shaggy or embellished.
5. a cute party dress (I loved the style of that black one you recently featured)

Oh, I LOVE this top! Especially with the tulle bracelet! The whole look is so soft and sweet. Really great to see it paired with nude heels and brow bag…I love the contrasts.

That shirt is adorable. My list includes scarves and for some reason, I’ve been finding wool hats that just seem to work, that I want to incorporate when the weather feels right.
I love the pictures in your post, except the sunglasses really make you look different, almost like you aren’t you! (I know it is tho.. right?) Great outfit too!

I love the black and white ensemble–you can never go wrong! The bow Wren top is adorable and the tulle bracelet is very Chanel. I agree with your fall must-haves, although I wish I could pull off over the knee boots! My 5’0 stature wouldn’t be able to wear them! I’m on the lookout for a sequined top (planning to throw a blazer over it) as well as a leather cropped jacket. I still haven’t found one that fits perfectly. Good luck with your finds!
